Sharing a layout - A Wild Spirit

Happy Monday, everyone! Today, I'm sharing a layout I made for iNSD in the ScrapGals community on facebook. If you didn't play along with us, then I highly recommend joining the group and checking out all of the awesome challenges we had over the weekend. While it's too late for the giveaways now, it's not too late for the inspiration.

My challenge was the last of the day, and I challenged scrapbookers to scrapbook a selfie and to handwrite directly on the background of their layout. You can see details of my layout below. It was a fun one that tells a meaningful story too - win, win in my book.

Here's a closeup of my journaling if you like to read that kind of thing.

And a few more closeups of my embellished squares - I mainly used Crate Paper by Maggie Holmes products with just a few other things thrown in randomly.

To draw attention to the title of the layout, I popped up that printed diecut to give it some dimension.

How perfect are those gold eyeglasses? You can see a tad bit of the adhesive under the left hand side, but I'm not going to stress about that too much.

I did a super short video to accompany my challenge; if you'd like to check that out, head over to my YouTube channel to view.

Thanks for stopping by my blog this morning!
