Today's layout features some pictures of my uncle's graduation in the late 60s. Since the photos were those thick polaroid style from that time period, I tried to choose paper and embellishments that would fit. I went with October Afternoon because of its vintage patterns and colors.
I made this fun embellishment for the center of the layout by layering some OA patterned ephemera bits and flags with pop dots for dimension.
I didn't have a lot to say about the photos, so I just included the most basic of information.
On the card, I added info about the time and place and circumstances of the pic.
I hid the main journaling card by sliding it behind one of the patterned papers. The ephemera pieces stapled to the side serve as a stopping point to keep the card from sliding too far and also as a handle for removing it to look at the few extra words I added.
And here's one more shot of the layout, so you can see how it all came together. :)
I love the photos and how you scrapped them. I especially like your hidden journaling!
