I have purchased all of my supplies to start the Paris pattern, but I sure haven't accomplished much beyond just carrying around my little bag of stitching supplies each day. I'm so classy; I carry around my stitching in a giant ziplock bag that I then stuff into my teacher bag.
And here you can see what I've actually done on the piece.
Hahaha! Yeah, I've literally only finished like 20 stitches. Y'all have to admit it's kind of funny that I added a picture of that. :0 I was like, why not. I just need to own how little I've done. Confession is good for the soul, right?
I guess I really need to get busy unless I want to be stitching Paris while I'm in Madrid. Speaking of, maybe I'd better check out this Etsy shop to see if they have a Madrid pattern. ;)

ReplyDeleteI did a counted cross-stitch scene of santa and his sleigh in a forest scene for my mother. It took me over three years and I lost my eye-sight in the process!!! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) I see your project and it makes me want to buy a kit, but I think I'll stick with the projects I already have on my list :)
ReplyDeleteOH totallY! I have a cross stitch on linen that is 9 years old... and about 1/3 done! Ooops (I didn't realise it was linen when I ordered it)
