Sharing a layout - Ladies Who Lunch

I recently made this layout about celebrating Christmas and her birthday with my friend, Lorie. Here's the finished layout first.

And here's a closeup of the journaling in case you like to read that kind of thing. :)

You can see some of the various sections that I created for this grid style layout.

I popped up one of the flower diecuts in the top right corner for a bit of dimension.

I also popped up some of the circle floral diecuts too. I really think that a bit of dimension helps a page feel more dynamic.

A few more detail shots...

And here you go one more time - I really like the soft colors of the layout and that I was able to fit in a total of 6 photos in this grid arrangement. I enjoyed being able to use several different Studio Calico patterned papers and embellishments as well as telling my story. That's winning in my book!

  1. Love this: the variation in the photo size, the embellishments that enhance rather than steal the spotlight, the fun details, like the teapot, the sign, your plate of food.
