Throwback Thursday - sharing an old layout "Rome, Documented"

Here's another older travel layout that I thought I'd share with you today. It focuses on a trip to Rome that I took in 2010 with students.

I still love using postcards in my albums and would likely still use one today. It's so difficult to get a great shot with all of the tourists and street activity that postcards are a great option to guarantee you have a fabulous photo of the place you visited.

I'm still a fan of mixing patterned papers as well as using some sort of a hard edge as a delineating element - in this case, the scalloped version. I'm still a fan of using stickers or chipboard elements as ready-made title treatments.

Y'all know that I love journaling cards and word stickers; that sure hasn't changed in the last few years. If you like to read what I have to say on the layout, then knock yourself out here. :)

And here it is one more time for the books. I love that I included three photos and two postcards on the layout along with some pretty detailed journaling. Woot! Woot!
