I used a PL style card for the title as well as for the journaling space. It's a great way to use up those supplies, and it gives me a finite space for those items on my page. I'm pretty sure this patterned paper and card combo is from one of the ollections by Simple Stories. I'm not sure why I included the tape measure patterned paper though; that's one of the big mysteries on this page I guess. Haha!
A close-up of the journaling -> let's just say I was keeping it real in this brief description.
To draw attention to the middle of the page, I included a cardstock sticker that I popped up with foam dots. I should've been more careful about covering up the last word of my journaling card, "art," but it's easy to peek underneath and see what it says. I'm not going to worry about it too much.
I like including the date of the photos somewhere on the layout for reference at a later date.
Here's one more look at the finished layout.
Single page layout? Check. Travel photos? Check. Multi-photo page? Check. Color/pattern blocking? Check. PL style card and journaling block? Check. This one is still a winner in my book. :)
