10 Novels on my To-Read List

Do you keep a list of books you'd like to read? Sometimes I do, and sometimes I get lazy and forget. Primarily, I keep a running list of potential books at Goodreads.com; if you're not familiar with it, it's sort of like Facebook for people who love to read. You can follow people you know or authors and can read reviews that other people have written for various books. I think it's a great source for winnowing out the books that interest you the most, especially since you can search via topic, author, title, etc. I have a growing number of friends on the site, and that also helps point me in the direction of books I might love.  Here's a list of 10 novels currently on my to-read list. I reserve the right to deviate from this list if passion and interest sway me though. ;)

1. A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

2. The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barberry

3. I'll See You in Paris by Michelle Gable

4. Echoes by Maeve Binchy

5. Plagued with Guilt by Jason Michael Brandt

6. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

7.  American Housewife: Stories by Helen Ellis

8. My Notorious Life by Kate Manning

9. The Heart Goes Last by Margaret Atwood

10. Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Ann Fowler

  2. LOVED A Man Called Ova. American Housewife is rather cheesy but meant to be that way. I haven't read any of the others on your list....yet. 😉

  3. The Elegance of the Hedgehog was one of the few, and I mean few, books I could not finish. Other fantastic books by Kate Morton are The Secret Keeper and The Distant Hours.
