5 Fave Things Right now

1. Dr. Teal's lavendar epsom salts and body wash - my masseuse recommended it, and I snagged them both at my local Kroger grocery store. I'm not sure if they're really helping clear toxins, but they smell great, have a very fine texture, and are made in the USA. Win-win in my opinion...

2. Half Price Book Store outlet - last Saturday, they had their 'fill a bag for $30' sale, and I racked up lots of goodies. In a future post, I'll share my specific purchases, but let's just say for now that I love this store.

3. Shellac manicures - I used to have my nails done all the time, but I'd gotten lazy and cheap in the last few months and stopped. I'm not sure why or how, but it was def a mistake for me. Having my nails done every 2-3 weeks really makes me feel more feminine and polished and confident. I think that's well-worth the $20 price tag. I like shellac because it doesn't seem to damage my natural nail and it has great staying power. I'm not especially careful with my nails, yet I regularly get more than two weeks of wear on one manicure. This week, I chose a sparkly dark gray-brown that is perfect for fall.

4. Camper ballet flats - I bought these fab ballet flats at BHV  in Paris this summer when I was desperate for a pair of shoes that didn't hurt my feet. They are THE BEST pair of flats I've ever owned, and you can buy them in the ZuSA on Amazon. (I'm sure other specialty stores carry them too.) run and get yourself a pair if you live comfy, well-made, stylish shoes. I want them in every color. They're a bit pricey (around $120), but I'm telling you they're worth every penny.

5. Brush pens for coloring - I'm not very good with them yet, but I'm having fun trying. After seeing several YouTube videos raving about these Kuretake brush clean color pens, I ordered a set. They are pretty fabulous, people. Maybe one day I'll make a coloring project worthy of really sharing with you. For now, I'm just playing with the colors and getting to know the pens.

*None of these companies know I exist; I'm just sharing some of my faves with you in case you're in the market for any similar products.
