Concerts and Picnics

On Friday nights in the summer, I like to ho to Concerts in the Park and listen to local bands perform. Sometimes, we go out to eat beforehand; other times, we bring takeout and have an impromptu picnic. Last week, our friends, Lori and Junior, joined us for the music. While the days are often miserably hot, most of the evenings end up nicely cool. Last Friday night featured a band that sang hits from the 60s and 70s. While the music might not have been my favorite, a simple evening of music and friends was exactly what I needed.  What have you done to relax and have fun recently with family or friends?
