Sharing a layout - Charlie-dog

Here's a simple little layout I made late the other night:

I started with some of the Dear Lizzy/Amy Tangerine paper I scored last week thanks to Tracie. (Not sure which line this is from for sure...)

 Then, I added several PL cards to add visual interest. Notice I went with a monochromatic tonal look for the layout - the only real pops of color are in the embellishments.

 Once I had built the basic layout with cards, I went back and added embellishments here and there. Overall, it's a very simple layout, but I'm happy with it.

I know I scrapbook frequently about my current pets, but I haven't really scrapbooker those from the past. Have you told the stories of the furry creatures in your lives? I'd love to see those layouts if you have. If not, then go and be 'scrappy.' :)
