Some of y'all might remember that my daughter Kelsey teaches dance locally. Last weekend was recital weekend, and she had lots to do. Five recitals with 8 or 9 different classes and oodles of little kids and parents vying for her attention meant that she was rather stressed and frazzled. Not to worry though - her kids did an amazing job. Here are some pics from the second show on Saturday that I attended:
I love this pic because I captured Kelsey dancing with her kiddos. See her down front in the middle of the screen with her arm pointing to the left? She's trying to remind the 5 year olds of their dance steps from the orchestra pit. Lol!
Strike a pose, ladies!
How sweet are the 3 year olds? They watched Kelsey's every move the entire time.
Yeah, everybody is kinda doing her own thing in this shot. Ever try to teach dance to a group of little kids? It's a lot like herding cats....impossible.
Here's another shot of Kelsey trying to guide the girls in what they should be doing - hands in the air like you just don't care.. Oh, wait, that's a different song.
Here she is post recital with flowers that some of her little girls had given her. They love Miss Kelsey.
And here I am proudly posing with my girl. It was a nice way to spend Mother's Day weekend, celebrating my daughter's success! :)
