DD pics for week 1

Today is December 7, and these are the photos I've taken thus far for December Daily. I haven't really manipulated these via editing yet, but I'm fairly pleased overall with the variety of pictures I have. I don't yet know which stories will definitely go with which days (some of them might need to be used out of order to make my album work), but I'm glad that I have this combination of photos to choose from at this point.

So bummed that this is blurry! (I might print it out super small and use it anyway, idk)

Now, I haven't actually made any pages in my DD, but at least I'm taking the pics, right? That's what I'm telling myself.  :)

  1. GREAT pics! Love them all and seeing your décor! Did you make the banner? I'm like this too, prepping pics and have to do scrapping later. Can't wait to see what you do with them! Merry Christmas!

    1. Thanks Jen! I get kind of down when I compare my pics to some people online, so it feels good to think that someone else thinks they're fun at least. :) Yes, I made the banner a couple of years ago, but I'm displaying it differently this year and really like the change.

    1. Thanks, Nancy! I still want to take some shots that are modeled after what other people are doing with their DDs, but my first week was pretty much just what was happening in real life without staging. Haha!

    1. Haha - Teddi, I never imagined anybody would want captions. See, that's how much I know! The clothes on the table were gifts for Kelsey. She had a meltdown the week before and really needed some things, so I just decided to pull the mom card and get her some stuff that isn't for Christmas. I can't solve all of her problems, but I can buy her cute stuff to wear. ;) Thanks for complimenting my Christmas decor. I didn't put out quite as much stuff this year; I'm trying to only display the pieces I truly love or that have a story behind them. (Oh, and I highly approve of alliteration at every opportunity.)
