K & J in the Smokies

Kelsey and Jake spent a few days in the mountains a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd share some of their pics with you now. They camped and took their dogs with them, and I think they had lots of fun. While they only took photos with their phones, I think they turned out pretty well and am glad I'll have them to scrapbook at some point. Ooh, maybe I need to buy that new camping paper line by the former designer for October Afternoon; isn't he working for Bella Blvd. now? Something to think about for when I return from Europe later this summer for sure...

Warning: they're all so flippin' cute that I can hardly stand it. Of course, I might be just a tad bit biased. :)

Jake, Ollie, and Frankie on the way to the mountains. I think Kelsey said he snapped this when she went into a gas station for a snack.

Love the rays of sunshine in this pic!

Not sure what Franklin is doing in the background, but this is a cool pic of Jake.

Love, love, love this photo - I mean, how can you not love a dappled pic of sleeping pups and a cute girl?

Frankie has rolls on rolls on rolls at his waddle.

They even managed to take a couple of scenery pics.

Franklin in profile -

What a couple of cuties! This is like day 3 without a shower; I'd look like I belonged in prison by that point, I'm sure.

More cute girl + cute pup + dappled sunshine

Cute boy + uncooperative dog + dappled sunshine

Stream + dappled sunshine

Not sure what he's doing here, but Jake is always photogenic.

After seeing several of these pics, I asked Kelsey if these dogs ever walk around or if they just carry them all the time?

Ollie is pretty photogenic too, just like her mama.

I like this pic of Kelsey, even if it is a tad blurry. She looks so relaxed and happy here!

And here they are on their way home from the camping trip.

Looks like they had a great time! I'm glad they were safe and enjoyed some time away to celebrate the end of the semester. And I'm super glad they took pics and sent them to me. I've trained them well!
