Throwback Thursday - "Always Dance"

For Throwback Thursday this week, I'm sharing a layout I made around 2005. It's a two page, 8.5 X 11 spread which you know really isn't my go-to size or format anymore. I still really like the KI Memories paper that I used, although I might have chosen something a bit more formal for the occasion I was documenting. Pink and black made me happy then, and they make me happy now. what can I say?

Back in the day, I used to do some typed journaling. (Sorry for the slightly crooked picture - idk how that happened.) Here's some meaningful journaling that is still true, even if the title and topic are a little bit cheesy.

In this photo, you can see the photo of Kelsey and my dad a bit better. I really like that it's  not a frontal shot; I think the side/back view is interesting because it's unexpected.

A close-up of some of the ribbon embellishments I used...

Here's one more look at the layout in its entirety.

  4. Great layout Tiffany. And really great story/journaling. I love how you share with your daughter how you felt. I think is wonderful when we can show our children who we are though our scrapbooks.
