Sharing a layout - The Big To Do

Last week, I was playing with my Instax camera when these pictures fell out of my case. I'd apparently put them there for safekeeping and then had forgotten all about them. I decided it was serendipity and that I needed to make a layout featuring them. True, the pics aren't that great, but I had a story to tell and didn't care so much about the quality of the photos. Plus, I kind of like the grainy, old-timey look to them since it was about us at an outdoor festival.

The letter stickers for the title are some ancient American Crafts that just make me smile. The paper and embellishments are some new Crate Paper, and the PL cards are just random older ones from my stash. Here's a closeup of the journaling for those of you who to like to read what I have to say.

And look at the sweet, little, chipboard stickers that went so well with the camping theme.

Take a look at the final layout - I think it's a fun one that tells a short but sweet story about the fella and me. Hope you enjoyed taking a look!

  1. You were a good sport to go camping when it isn't really your thing. I'm with you! Nature is nice, but I don't need to sleep out in it. :)

  2. Add me to the 'I don't camp' list! Nope. Not my thing. When I first saw this page I thought ' did she seriously use that background paper ?' .... I'm in awe of you for it!! I received that sheet of paper In a kit and I just couldn't wrap my head around it at all! But seeing it on your layout… I think it looks fabulous! Go you! Such a cute page and a sweet story.
