Sharing a layout - These Moments

Here's an easy-peasy. lemon-squeezy layout that I made earlier this week in just about 15 minutes. I'd been working with fall pics and wanted to do a smaller (8.5 X 11) layout with these two photos of Kelsey that I like.

A quick review of my smaller size paper yielded this yellow diagonal stripe and the camera paper. Then, I thumbed through my embellishments bin on my desk (which is actually kind of out of control right now) and found the Amy Tangerine sticker booklet that I love. I started looking through and found several different stickers I liked, so I layered them vertically down the page. They're all tonally similar, even if they don't necessarily match perfectly. Other than that, I added a random pink library style journaling card I found on my desk and some October Afternoon date washi tape and striped twine. That's it - easy as pie!

Here's a few closeups of the embellishments sections.

And here's a closeup of the journaling that I put on a pull-out card underneath the main photo.

I like the layout overall because it's simple and bright; it tells a small story in an uncomplicated way, and that's perfectly okay. :) I hope you've been doing crafty stuff this week too!
