Mojo Monday - sharing holiday cards

Hey y'all! I've got three holiday cards to share with you today. I made them yesterday afternoon in just 45 minutes. I set a timer and got busy!

I started with a paper pad and three kraft card bases + envelopes.

Then I pulled out my big ol' basket of Christmas supplies. It's not organized except that it's all Christmas stuff all together.

Here's the first card I made. Notice that I also embellished the envelope to match. It was very simple to make - just strips of paper from the paper pad, a Making Memories journaling spot, wood veneer stars, and a stamped sentiment. That's right, y'all - I actually stamped!

Since I was on such a stamping roll, I thought I'd stamp the second card too. This one is a monochromatic scheme of a brick red that includes three different patterns from the paper pad I selected to use. I stamped the sentiment on some solid-ish base paper from the paper pad then popped it up off the base of the card for some texture. Again, I used the wood veneer stars as an embellishment on the card and on the envelope.

Rather than tempt the stamping gods' wrath upon me, I decided to stick with something I am very comfortable doing in scrapbooking - horizontal strips of paper. I used four different pieces of paper from the pad to create this combination, then I added some green buttons for texture and dimension. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Voila! Three cards in less than an hour - I'm feeling pretty awesome about that. :)
