I started by choosing the papers I wanted to use with a group of 3 pics from my parents' wedding. I layered those together, mixing patterns that made me happy and picked up the colors in the photos. That was the easy part.
Next, I played around with arranging my pics on the layout. As you can see, I tried several options.
In the end, I went with my first inclination, the three photos across the middle of the page, slightly overlapping one another. Ironic, right? Once, I knew where the pics would go, the rest of the layout came together pretty quickly.
I included some wedding themed chipboard accents that I'd had a long time. I wrote my journaling.
I added a chipboard title and a few colored vellum accents too. Look at that tiny bit of washi tape on the right. I've finally joined in on the washi trend apparently. I'm only like 3 years behind the times. Lol!

And here's the finished project - I love it, even with the not-so-great photos and the not-so-happy ending to their story. It's still part of my family, my story, and I'm glad that I've told it.
