Fashion is an important part of pop culture, but I hadn't ever documented the fashion trends from my teenage years. This layout takes care of that. Even though the pics aren't great, you can def see our outfits well which is the point of this layout.
I was inspired by Kristine Davidson's layout that I found on scrapbook.com and subsequently pinned on Pinterest. I think you'll see several elements of hers that I scraplifted, even though mine isn't exactly like hers.
Here's Kristine's awesome layout:
You can see more of her work on her blog at Kristine Davidson.
So here's how I started my layout - strips of paper and a row of pics like the inspiration piece.
My take on the embellishment pocket
The start to my title block
Playing around with the block of embellishments below the photos
Some layering going on here

The journaling in the actual pocket
Just a little washi
A closeup of the finished title treatment
And voila, the finished layout
I had fun working with these pics and reminiscing a bit about 80s style. What do you remember about fashion from your teenage years?
