I used a printed jar card and some dark brown rubons for the title and finished it off with a white ribbon that I spritzed with mist to make a mint green.
Beneath and around the title block, I layered and clustered some embellishments - Dear Lizzy circle sticker, Jenni Bowlin month sticker, and a clock diecut. If you're so inclined, you can also read the journaling I wrote on an ancient tag from my stash. (Seriously, it's prob been a decade since I bought it - lol.)
At the bottom of the layout, I hand cut several more mason jars and layered them with some inspirational quote strips about creativity. I also spritzed more of that white ribbon and stapled it to the page above the jars and layered a vintage looking typewriter diecut on top. Finally, I added a border sticker strip to pick up the yellow color of the top of the background paper.
Here's a look at the finished layout:
Have you scrapbooked one of your goals, even if it's an ongoing thing? I think you should. Plus, I'd love to hear all about it.
I'll be sharing another layout tomorrow, so stop by for a look if you can. :)
Nice! I love the jars and the circle w/ hearts! What is your novel about?
ReplyDeleteDid you stamp on those mason jars on the bottom or use rub-ons? Looks really cute, either way. (I think I have that jar paper and don't remember the images . . . I have a bit of an American Crafts paper hoarding issue.)
