A happy haul!

I don't go shopping for scrapbook goodies very often. I might order online once every 2-3 months, and I might stop in a local chain store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby once every couple of months in my town. Generally, I try to stay out of the local stores because I could spend a fortune on supplies if I weren't careful. (I already spend enough...)

No, my spur of the moment shopping all happens when I hang out with Tracie. (It's all her fault!) Last weekend, we got together to record a couple of podcasts and ended up hopping over to Michael's once we were finished. Of course I found some fun goodies. Those Heidi Swapp pieces were mostly on sale; I used a coupon on the PL mini-kit, and the paper packs were just $4.99 each. In total, I spent $28 once I'd used my coupons and the items rang up on sale and the girl plugged in my teacher discount. Maybe this will hold me over until February when I plan to order some new CHA goodies.

I don't really have any plans yet for the supplies I bought, but they are all brands that I really like and items I didn't already have. Perhaps the new product will inspire me to be a bit more productive than I've been lately. For whatever reason, I haven't been super motivated to make things the last couple of weeks. Maybe it has been December Daily hangover or something. Now that that is mostly behind me (except for the cover), I think I'll be itching to make pretty things once more.

What have you bought lately? Maybe more importantly, what's on your upcoming "to buy" list?

  1. I ordered a few things from my CTMH friend & got them this weekend when we scrapped together-- their year noted mini album kit, new cricut cartridge set, all sizes of flip-flaps, 2 enamel shapes, plastic clips, & holiday badge buttons for my December Daily. Then upon unpacking, I realized I had forgotten a cricut mat so off to HobLob I went, & found some half price number stickers in gold & silver then some black rub on numbers & a metal 'S' for Santa (of course) annnnnnnnnnnnd then my Cricut died. :(( so that will probably be my next scrappy purchase...
