Book recommendations

I currently am working my way through a couple of books I thought I'd recommend to you.

Ireland by Frank Delaney is a captivating read so far that intertwines the history of Ireland with the adolescence of a boy living there in the 1950s. It's a dense read, but the stories and characters are richly drawn.

Ain't She Sweet? by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is a delightful southern yarn that captures what it's like to grow up in and return as an adult to a small southern town. I don't have it all figured out yet, and the characters feel like people I know. It's a light read that's just right for a beach vacation.

Finally, I'm also working on rereading The Witching Hour by Anne Rice. I read it 10-15 years ago and loved the series, so I thought I'd revisit it for fun.

My travel partner, Travis, has discussed lots of books with me this week that he has loved, so I plan to work my way through some of those recommendations soon too. I'll be sure and let you know which ones I love; I hope you'll do the same for me. :) Peace out, fellow bibliophiles...
