Sharing a layout - Football Fan

I haven't gotten much craftiness accomplished the last couple of weeks - sorry! Even though I've been officially finished with school, I've still been working quite a bit. Professional development, Europe trip planning, and my online classes have been keeping me quite busy.

Friday afternoon, I did make some time to come back to my office and work for a few hours. I managed to finish 4 layouts in about 4 hours. That doesn't sound super impressive, I know, but I feel pretty good about it. I'll be sharing those layouts over the next few days and will hopefully get a few more things accomplished this weekend. Fingers crossed!

This week's podcast was called "No kids, no pets, no husband" and in that spirit, I tried to create a layout that didn't feature any of those areas. Granted, my daughter is in one of the pics with me, but this layout is really about me being a football fan and supporting my school team and not about her. This layout came together pretty quickly since it's made primarily of just cardstock and some teeny sticker embellishments. I'm not usually a fan of cardstock only, but the colors for my team are purple and gold, and that's just not a really popular color combo in patterned paper. Plus, the pics were a little bit busy; too much pattern might have overwhelmed the page. I used some ancient SEI letter stickers along with some relatively new 7gypsies and Basic Grey embellishments. Every time I use something really old from my stash, part of me wants to cheer. Lol! It's the little things that make me happy, okay? ;)

Even though my to-do list isn't getting any shorter,  I'm feeling like my creativity might be on the upswing again. Hopefully I'll have lots more to share in the next few weeks. Please keep checking in and leaving comments about the podcast or my blog or what's going on in your lives. I love to hear from each of you. Peace out, peeps!
