My summertime bucket list

I really don't think of my summer starting until I get back from this trip to Europe with students. As such, I've been working on my bucket list for the month of July. Lol! Here's what I've come up with thus far:

1.  Plant window boxes (yeah, I know it's awfully late, but I can still enjoy some flowers for the remainder of the summer)

2.  Shoot a portrait session that I'm really proud of

3.  Work ahead on podcast projects so I'm not scrambling to finish projects for airing

4.  Learn how to weld words and print with my Silhouette, particularly monograms

5.  Paint my studio space - preferably something soothing and relaxing

6.  Write 2 chapters of my book

7.  Go to as many concerts in the park as possible & preferably dance while I'm there

8.  Get back in the habit of going to the gym before school starts back in August

9.  Host a small dinner party (good motivation to get my house/yard in order, right?)

10.  Cultivate the relationships in my life (also good motivation to manage my time better)

Ten items - that's doable, right? I'll have about five weeks before I go back to work, so that's just two items per week. I think that's my bucket list for summer 2014; of course, I do reserve the right to modify as necessary. After all, it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind. What's on your summer bucket list?

  2. did you learn how to weld? You highlight the words/letters you want to weld together, right click (or is it left click?) and a menu comes up, weld is on there somewhere. Printing I haven't tried yet :P
