4. Chinchon - 35 minutes by train
5. Salamanca - two and a half hours by train
6. Seville - two hours 20 minutes by train
7. Alcala de Henares - 35 minutes by train
8. Cordoba - one hour 50 minutes by train
9. Aranjuez 44 minutes by train
10. Cuenca - one hour by train
11. El Escorial - less than an hour by train
12. Avila - two hours by train
13. Valladolid - one hour by train
14. Zaragoza - one hour 35 minutes by train
15. Guadalajara - 35 minutes
There are so many places I could visit if I feel the need to get out of the city! Have any of you visited any of these areas? If so, which day trips would you recommend? I know I can't really visit all of these places, but I think I could easily visit 6-8 of them. Where would you begin?
