Today is primary Election Day in KY, and, as such, I'm out of school. (It's state law that we are out of school on Election Day since most schools are also polling places.)
After sleeping late, I have 50 sophomore documented essays to grade. I'd also like to get a little crafty. About 2:00, I'm heading out for a massage and will vote on my way home.
When does your state hold primary elections? Do you usually vote in those? Why or why not?

Our primary was at the beginning of April. I always vote. We had some key library and school board elections this year. I wish election day was a work holiday to allow more people access to the polls but it is not the case in Illinois.
