Sharing a project 3 cards in 30 minutes

That's right, y'all. I made these three cards in 30 minutes with supplies that I had lying around my craft room. If I can do it, anybody can do it; trust me on this!

I've had a tough week and haven't felt especially crafty, but I knew I would feel better if I just went back there and made something. I spent most of the evening writing (3500 words tonight), but I also wanted to make something to share here on my blog. I said to myself, "You could make a couple of cards. Just see how much you can get done in a half hour." And voila, here we go!

Supplies: 6 X 6 paper pad that I used earlier in the week for the other set of cards, kraft card bases and envelopes from a package that I bought from HL ages ago, foam dots, adhesive, miscellaneous embellishments from my years of making December Daily albums (I have all my Christmas stuff thrown into a giant basket, so looking through it is part of the fun.)

Card #1 - grid format, miscellaneous embellishments, repetition of cream, black, red, and green. Simple, simple, simple!

Card #2 - smaller size card, strips of patterned paper, sentiment from paper pad, sentiment stickers from my stash. It doesn't get much easier than that!

Card #3 - patterned paper arranged in a patchwork pattern, repeated pattern for cohesion, popped up OA card for vintage feel and to add texture. What isn't there to love about that?

There you have it - my 3 cards in 30 minutes challenge was successful. I know that these designs aren't anything earth-shattering, but I'm thrilled that I accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. Even if I just put these on gifts to give this holiday season, I still think it's a winner!  :)
