Post vacay reflection

Yeah, I've been back to real life long enough to be able to reminisce about vacation.

I want to go back. Back to the beach. Back to staying up late and sleeping in the next morning. Back to spotty cell phone and internet service. Back to days filled with nothing more than books, sunshine, cocktails, and conversation. Back to the sound of the waves lapping against the beach over and over and over. Back to the wind in my hair and the sun on my face. Back to good meals and no schedule and belly laughs and no responsibility.

Oh well, I guess that's what retirement will feel like, so I'll just have to look forward to that in the distant future. In the meantime, I'll look back at this relaxing beach vacay and work on planning my next getaway in the summer.
