Ladies who lunch

On Thursday, I met my dear friend, Tonia, at Burdett's Tea Shop for lunch so we could catch up and talk about her upcoming trip to Paris with her daughter. Isn't Tonia just gorgeous? She looks like a California surfer babe to me. Anyway, we ended up enjoying a three hour lunch, but it felt like we were just there for a few minutes. I snapped this pic of Tonia after we ate, then she took the picture of me shown below.

We ordered the salad jumbo plate and ordered the exact same combination - chicken salad with crackers, a ham & cheese scone, broccoli salad, and frozen strawberry salad with fruit tea. For dessert, we had chocolate dipped peanut butter balls. I enjoyed it all so much that I forgot to take a photo of the fabulous food. Oops!

Before we left, one of the waitresses took this photo of Tonia and me together. I had a blast catching up with her and talking about Paris too. The sweet thing even treated me to lunch since my birthday is tomorrow - how sweet was that?! Thursday, we were ladies who lunch, and I loved every minute of it. Tonia, you rock, and I had a fab time with you! :)
