You had Little People. So did I. The reason you remember and call them Weebles is because there was a very popular commercial when we were little that played over and over on Saturdays and said, "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!" Here's a video with a commerical - see if these look anything like you remember. I think you had Little People and I want to hug you for sharing that Sesame Street LP place! I either wanted that, knew someone who had it or had it myself. I remember it so vividly!!!!!!! I'll have to ask my Mom and sister. It was almost always the first thing they'd ask for when coming to visit. In the beginning, it was in habited by Little People but now it's usually the home base of a multitude of Disney small figures. For us, it really is a family heirloom. My eldest son had a bunch of Fisher Price sets and most of the people were wood from the first sets and now they are all plastic. I even have the pig and chicken from that first set. I have one photo of me with my Little People sets and its a treasure. I also had the treehouse you have pictured. The domed canopy went up and down and I think it had a slide. Thanks for the memories!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01458480885486437621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723492686087062585.post-70529170364542367642015-09-16T08:54:35.683-05:002015-09-16T08:54:35.683-05:00Wanted to add, what great vivid memories you'v...Wanted to add, what great vivid memories you've written down here. I wish you had those photos, too. It was so different in the days of film. Now we have so many photos we don't know what to do with them. All the ones you've shown here are Little People. Weebles were egg-shaped on the bottom and made by Hasbro under the Playskool sub-brand. There was a Weebles treehouse, so perhaps you had some of each? We had Little People, too. I loved that black and white dog. I remember a one story house and a little car and the LP houseboat. :-) Laurahttp://bookworm.typepad.com/noreply@blogger.com
