I generally do a page or two in our regular album and then put the rest of the photos in some type of travel album. This has varied for me and I still haven't quite decided if I like having individual albums for each journey or just adding to a larger album with 'chapters' for each vacation. The best part is that it doesn't really matter as long as I love it and document the memories. After the "urge to purge" episode of SG I gutted my studio and started over. As I went through things I found several pages I had created for a specific vacation and put notes on the pages, but had not added photos or embellies (although I had them in a bag along with the pages). They are now in progress in my studio. I have photos and all the memorabilia, but just vague memories (seriously it has only been 5 years...I forget the little details so quickly!). I'm still happy to document this trip, but it lacks some of the detail that I like to have regarding my travels. Great page Tiffany! I love the journaling and am a bit jealous of your beautiful European travels. One day! :)ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12583874062538871673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723492686087062585.post-1576363708913402382016-04-07T09:20:51.217-05:002016-04-07T09:20:51.217-05:00I find I scrapbook trips more promptly if I have a...I find I scrapbook trips more promptly if I have a game plan and supplies ready to go. I made an 8 x 8 album about a trip to Washington DC and it came together like "buttah" because I'd decided to do all my journaling on printed out Ali Edwards journaling cards, to print some 8 x 8 pictures, and to limit my papers to a line from My Minds Eye called Lush: classic patterns which were a single color over a cream background. It's still one of my favorite projects. I find it challenging to scrap trips if a long period of time has gone by, especially if I didn't do any journaling at the time. Don't know why. Maybe I'll make it a goal after working on Christmas layouts (another area I never seem to touch).LisaDVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10100898051625077974noreply@blogger.com
